I AGREE WITH COMMENT #1. IT IS SAD AND INSULTING FOR WAMO, THE LOCAL RADIO STATION TO THINK LISTENERS WOULD PREFER HIP-HOP TO INFORMATIVE TALK.
Rev. Al is the best. I wish that I could hear more of him. His style and gift for public speaking can hardly be beat.

My husband & I heard the recent broadcast on Sept. 11, 2006 Rev. Sharpton had with author Nicole Simpson regarding her experience/ordeal on that day five years ago. Does Ms. Simpson have a website? I’d like to get more information on her, as well as her writings. Thank you. Though we are very much aware of how history is written, hearing how Ms. Simpson & the black firefighter’s story had no relevance, just makes the harsh realities of life so much more devastating.

You are known to help the black community, and it would be wonderful to hear you speak in urban areas of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County. So whenever you decide to talk on a topic that would encourage, uplift, and pull our black youth into the motivation that they need to not only succedd and be successful but to be the men and woman that God has called them to be. Please let it be well publicized so that thousands will know and be there.

HERE’S MY COMMENT. I think Al Sharpton should be taken off the air. He is always talking about equal rights and such, but yet he takes away Imus’s equal rights to make comments.Being racist is an equal right. So If Al don’t like it, perhaps he should go back to being a common thug he once was. I’ll never vote for this disgusting excuse for a man.

Rev. Sharpton you owe a public apology to the three Duke students for your racially motivated comments and your comment about your thinking they were guilty. They were not guilty. Since you thought Imus’s comments were inappropiate, you should be taken off the air too. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

will not be buying anything that supports him. I also have stopped buying from the sponers that gave up on Imus without giving in to his accusers
